Fees – Free kindergarten for 2025
Continuing in 2025, Parkdale Preschool is pleased to provide free kindergarten as part of the Victorian government’s “Best Start, Best Life” reforms.
This means for 2025, a free 15-hour per week program will be available to children attending four-year-old kindergarten, and a free 15-hour per week program will be available to children attending three-year-old kindergarten at Parkdale Preschool.
If your child will be attending childcare in addition to sessional kindergarten, then you must elect for Parkdale Preschool to receive the free kindergarten funding.
This government initiative is likely to continue for 2026, however once confirmed by the Victorian government more details will be provided.
Early Start Kindergarten is available for children who turn three by 30 April in the year they will be attending kindergarten, and whose family is known to Child Protection (including those referred directly from Child Protection to Child FIRST), or are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. Please see this brochure for more information or contact our Administration Officer.
